Overflow Ox Inventory Redesign

The Overflow ox_inventory redesign adds one-click clothing toggles directly inside the inventory UI — no separate clothing menu needed. Players toggle hats, masks, and jackets with smooth native GTA V animations from the same screen they manage their items. Chat commands like /top and /glasses are also supported for keyboard-driven workflows.

Instead of using a "Give Item" menu, players physically throw items across the room to other players. Hold to charge — a power bar and trajectory arc appear — then release to launch. The arc accounts for angle and distance, so throwing a weapon through a window or over a fence is precise and satisfying. Works with any item in ox_inventory.

Drag any item in the ox_inventory redesign and nearby players highlight automatically — showing exactly who will receive the item before you release. No confirmation dialogs, no chat commands, no proximity prompts. Release over a highlighted player and the transfer happens instantly with full server-side validation.

The redesigned shop interface lets players add multiple items to a persistent cart, adjust quantities, and review the full order before a single checkout. Bulk purchases that previously required clicking "buy" ten times now take seconds. Cart state persists if the player navigates away from the shop, reducing accidental purchases.

The redesign adds a fully configurable rarity tier system — Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary — with distinct border colors and background accents per tier. High-value items stand out immediately in any inventory view. Rarity is assigned in the ox_inventory item definitions, so no additional tables or scripts are required.

Vehicle trunks, gloveboxes, and stashes open in a side-by-side view alongside the player's main inventory. A fast transfer button moves entire stacks in one click. Server-side sync runs on every action to prevent ghost items and dupe exploits that plague asynchronous inventory implementations.

A glowing drop zone appears at the bottom of the screen when a player starts dragging an item — releasing over it discards the item instantly. No right-click menu, no confirmation step for non-valuable items. The zone only appears during an active drag, keeping the UI uncluttered the rest of the time.

Right-clicking any item in the Overflow ox_inventory redesign opens a sleek inline context menu — Use, Throw, Split, Give, Drop — without moving the item or losing your place in the grid. The menu anchors to the cursor position and closes on outside click, keeping the interaction fast and uninterrupted.

The redesigned ox_inventory UI adds dedicated category tabs for Weapons, Food, and Medical items — click a tab to instantly filter the inventory grid to only that type. No more scrolling through 40 items to find a bandage during a firefight. Categories are defined in ox_inventory's existing item config, so no additional setup is needed.
